This course is designed to improve the participants’ awareness of the legal requirements, operational restrictions, packaging instructions, marking, labeling and documentation regulations related to the transport of dangerous goods.
During the course, the participants will interpret and review the current IATA DGR manual, identify the responsibilities of operator and shipper, understand the limitations, classification and identification of goods, distinguish the packaging, marking, and labeling requirements and specific and analyse particular procedures related to the concept of dangerous goods.
Upon completing this course, the participants will have the skills to apply IATA’s DGR manual and complete dangerous goods transport documents correctly; apply regulations to identify, pack, mark, label and document dangerous goods; perform the responsibilities involved in accepting, storing, loading and inspecting dangerous goods; and understand the legal responsibilities involved with the transport of dangerous goods.
All training materials will be distributed on the first day of the course.
